While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

'Hamas accuses Netanyahu of sabotaging ceasefire talks, seeking endless war

Monday 14-July-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has said that “Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu is craftily sabotaging negotiation rounds, one after another, and does not want to reach any ceasefire agreement.”

“War criminal Netanyahu has dragged his army and regime into a senseless war that has no horizon. This war does not only pose a threat to the lives of [Israeli] captives and soldiers but also foreshadows a strategic disaster for the Israeli occupation,” Hamas said in a statement on Monday.

“The longer the war drags on, the deeper the occupation army sinks into the quicksand of Gaza and the more exposed it becomes to the resistance’s precise strikes,” Hamas underlined.

“The resistance in Gaza is engaged in a war of attrition, surprising the occupation army with innovative field tactics that make it lose the initiative and disrupt its calculations, despite its superiority in firepower and air support,” the Movement added.

Israeli legal academics: So-called "humanitarian city" in Rafa'h constitutes a war crime

TEL AVIV, July 14, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of scholars and lecturers at Israeli law faculties specializing in international law and the laws of armed conflict expressed their unequivocal professional position and warned against the clear and explicit illegality inherent in the Israeli plan to concentrate the population of Gaza in a so-called “humanitarian city” to be established on the ruins of Rafa'h.

This plan was presented by the Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, on July 7, 2025, and according to reports, is endorsed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as part of a broader plan to “encourage emigration” from Gaza.

In a letter dated July 10, sixteen legal professors and lecturers addressed the so-called ‘Defense’ Minister Israel Katz and Army Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, warning that the proposed plan to construct the camp atop the ruins of Rafa'h, which Israel has largely destroyed, represents a clear and explicit legal violation.

“If implemented, the plan would constitute a series of war crimes and crimes against humanity, and under certain conditions, could amount to the crime of genocide,” the letter stated.

According to Minister Katz, the plan is to initially concentrate approximately 600,000 Palestinians there, mainly from the Al-Mawasi area, and later the entire population of the Gaza Strip. He said, “The Palestinians will be admitted after screening and will not be allowed to leave.” He further stated that one of the plan’s objectives is to encourage emigration from the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli public broadcaster reported that the so-called city would be located between the Palestinian-Egyptian border (which the Israelis call Philadelphi Corridor) and the sandy area between Khan Younus and Rafa'h (which the Israelis call Morag), in southern Gaza. It is intended to house all Palestinians in Gaza, with mechanisms in place to promote what Israeli officials claim as “voluntary emigration” from the Strip.

The letter emphasized that this constitutes a war crime of forcible transfer and deportation. It stated that due to the systematic and widespread nature of the plan, it constitutes a crime against humanity in the form of deportation or forcible transfer.

In addition, the letter states that the plan constitutes a crime against humanity of severe deprivation of liberty, in violation of fundamental rules of international law, due to the prohibition on leaving the area. It also constitutes the crime against humanity of persecution, resulting from the grave deprivation of fundamental rights based on collective identity, in conjunction with the declared intent to encourage emigration.

The letter said that any directive to prepare or advance the establishment of a “humanitarian city” in Gaza constitutes a manifestly illegal order, which must not be followed.

The signatories concluded by urging all relevant authorities to publicly renounce this plan, disavow it, and ensure that it is not implemented.

Israeli settler attacks on the Christian town of Al-Tayba reveal a systematic policy against the Palestinian people, Committe demands immediate international action

RAMALLAH, July 14, 2025 (WAFA) –

Attacks by the illegal Israeli settlers on the Christian town of Al-Tayba in the Ramallah governorate reveal a systematic policy against the Palestinian people, an immediate international action is needed, the Higher Presidential Committee for Church Affairs in Palestine said on Monday.

The Committee made these remarks as it took part in a solidarity gathering to condemn the recurring attacks by Israeli colonists on the town’s Christian residents and their holy sites.

“The event aimed to send a clear and urgent message to the international community: the targeting of the Christian presence in Palestine is no longer incidental, it is a systematic policy that necessitates a firm and immediate international response,” the Committee said in a press statement.

The Committee stressed that colonists’ attacks against Palestinian Christians “represent flagrant violations of international law and of conventions that guarantee the protection of places of worship and freedom of religion.”

It called on the international community and churches around the world to “take urgent action and exert pressure on governments to adopt real, enforceable measures to halt Israeli violations, ensure freedom of worship, and preserve the spiritual and human diversity of the Holy Land.”

A conference was held under the theme “Come and See,” bringing together a distinguished gathering of religious and political leaders as well as diplomatic corps, notably Patriarch Theophilos III, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, and Patriarch Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, alongside bishops, priests, ambassadors, consuls, and international media representatives.

The event also drew strong participation from Al-Tayba residents and a delegation from the Higher Presidential Committee, headed by Mousa Hadid.

Highlighting the suffering of the local residents under organized attacks by colonist groups, Rev. Bashar Fawadhla, parish priest of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Al-Tayba, noted that these attacks have targeted Christian holy sites and private property alike. He emphasized that the plight of Palestinian Christians is inseparable from the broader suffering of the Palestinian people, affirming that Christians are not outsiders, but a deeply rooted and historic part of this land, present for thousands of years.

In a statement on behalf of the Patriarchs and Heads of Churches in Jerusalem, Patriarch Theophilos III condemned the Israeli attacks on Al-Tayba and underscored the urgent need to protect the Christian presence in the Holy Land. He emphasized the churches’ continued efforts to safeguard this presence amid systematic threats.

“What took place on July 7 is a direct assault on our religious and human heritage,” he stated.

“We categorically reject these exclusionary acts and reaffirm our commitment to a Holy Land where all faiths coexist in peace and dignity.”

The statement continued: “The Church has stood faithfully in this land for nearly two millennia, and we will not allow our presence to be erased. Even in times of war, holy sites must be respected and protected.”

“We call on diplomats, politicians, and church leaders around the world to raise their voices in defense of our community in Taybeh, so that it may live in peace, worship freely, and cultivate its land without fear,” it concluded.

The conference also featured a message from His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, delivered to Patriarch Theophilos III, in which His Majesty expressed Jordan’s full solidarity with the people of Taybeh and categorical condemnation of the barbaric attacks on St. George’s Church (Al-Khader) and the historic Christian cemetery. His Majesty stressed that the severity of colonist violence, their daily terrorization of Palestinians, and the broader campaign of aggression across towns, cities, and refugee camps in the occupied territories require a firm and unified international stance—particularly in light of the ongoing genocide against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly in Gaza.

The conference also included remarks from journalists, before participants proceeded to the historic St. George’s Church, where a special Mass was held and prayers were offered for the protection of Taybeh, its residents, and all Palestinian communities facing similar attacks.

The event concluded with a field visit to the areas recently targeted by settler violence and arson. Committee members and attendees heard firsthand testimonies from local residents who witnessed and endured the assaults.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens, assaulted others, and stole money during raids in the West Bank on Monday.

According to local sources, the IOFs raided homes in Marda village in Salfit province at dawn and kidnapped two citizens.

In Ramallah, the IOFs kidnapped two young men following raids on homes in the villages of Ramon and 'Ain Areek.

In Jineen, the Israeli occupation soldiers savagely assaulted and searched a young man as he was walking in a street in Ya’bad town and then stole 5,000 shekels he was carrying.

The IOFs also broke into and ransacked several homes in Ya’bad town and stole 3,500 shekels from the house of Ma'hmoud Al-Kilani as well as 1,000 shekels and gold jewelry from the house of his sister, Basima.

A number of citizens were also detained for a while and severely beaten during the IOFs raids on homes in Al-Khaleel.

The IOFs also set up several checkpoints at the entrance of Al-Khaleel City, its towns, villages and refugee camps, and closed a number of main and side roads with barriers, mounds of dirt or concrete blocks.

UNESCO World Heritage Committee adopts statement reaffirming the Outstanding Universal Value of Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

PARIS, July 14, 2025 (WAFA) –

The World Heritage Committee of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), during its 47th session currently taking place in the French capital, Paris, has officially adopted a statement reaffirming the Outstanding Universal Value of the Old City of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), which has been inscribed on the List of World Heritage in Danger since 2017.

This decision comes as a culmination of sustained Palestinian efforts to protect Hebron’s historic center and strengthen its recognition on the global cultural stage.

The city is acknowledged as a heritage site that embodies a unique spiritual, cultural, and human history. The decision is grounded in UNESCO’s criteria, which highlight the exchange of human values across civilizations, the exceptional preservation of traditional urban fabric, and the religious and spiritual importance of the site, most notably the Ibraheemi Mosque (Cave of the Patriarchs).

The Permanent Delegation of the State of Palestine to UNESCO stated that the adoption of this declaration constitutes international recognition of Hebron as an integral part of world heritage. It also underscores the urgency of protecting the city in the face of mounting threats, especially those resulting from Israeli colonial expansion, movement restrictions, and systematic efforts to alter the character of the Ibraheemi Mosque.

The delegation emphasized that the decision strengthens UNESCO’s commitment to its responsibility of safeguarding World Heritage Sites, particularly those under threat.

It further called on the international community to take immediate steps to protect Hebron’s Old City from any actions that could compromise its historical and cultural integrity.

The delegation renewed its gratitude to the member states that voted in favor of adopting the resolution. It affirmed that the struggle to protect Palestinian heritage is ongoing, and that this decision will serve as an international point of reference in confronting continued Israeli violations in the city, particularly in and around the Ibraheemi Mosque.

Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Al-Aqsa Mosque

Monday 14-July-2025

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Scores of the illegal Israeli settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Monday morning, amid restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site.

According to the Islamic Awqaf Administration in the holy city, dozens of settlers entered the Mosque through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under police protection.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them performed provocative dances and Talmudic prayers.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site.

Illegal Israeli settlers raise Israeli flags near residents’ homes in Al-'Ain El-'Hilwa community in northern Jordan Valley

JORDAN VALLEY, July 14, 2025 (WAFA) –

Illegal Israeli settlers escalated their provocations on Monday in Al-'Ain El-'Hilwa, one of the Palestinian communities facing imminent forcible displacement in the northern Jordan Valley.

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers  placed Israeli flags near the tents and homes of local residents, in what the community described as a direct provocation and an attempt to impose a new colonial reality by force.

Local sources told WAFA that the settlers roamed near residents' structures and erected flags in close proximity to their tents.

The area has been witnessing near-daily incursions by armed colonist groups who carry out repeated assaults aimed at intimidating the population and pressuring them to leave.

This move is part of a broader and ongoing pattern of colonial violations in the northern Jordan Valley, which includes daily attacks on residents, the destruction of property, harassment of shepherds in grazing areas, and assaults on livestock, including theft, under the protection and direct support of Israeli occupation forces.

Al-'Ain El-'Hilwa is among the most targeted areas in the Israeli campaign of forcible displacement, part of a broader plan to annex the Jordan Valley and assert full control over it. Such actions constitute a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits the transfer or forced displacement of civilian populations, as well as coercive measures intended to drive them from their land.

Elderly Palestinian man suffers fractures and bruises after a settler attack on Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)-area village

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), July 14, 2025 (WAFA) –

An elderly Palestinian man sustained serious injuries on Monday after a brutal attack by the illegal Israeli settlers  in the village of Al-Minya, southeast of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).

According to Zayid Kawazba, head of the village council, a group of Israeli colonists attacked and assaulted 60-year-old Abdul Mahdi Matour with sticks, causing multiple injuries to his face and hand.

The Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC) confirmed that Matour suffered a broken jaw and a fractured hand. He was given first aid and later rushed to Bait Jala Government Hospital for further medical assistance.

Earlier today, the same group of the illegal Israeli settlers erected four tents in the “Al-Qarn” area of the village and uprooted approximately 1,500 olive saplings belonging to the Matour and Jabbareen families.

This incident is part of a border systematic effort to forcibly displace Palestinians from their lands.

Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers set up tents on Palestinian land, uproot 1,500 olive saplings in Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)-area village

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), July 14, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli colonists set up tents and uprooted hundreds of olive saplings on lands belonging  to the village of Al-Minya, southeast of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).

Zayid Kawazba, head of Al-Minya village council, told WAFA that a group of the illegal Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Qarn area in the center of the village, where they set up four tents and uprooted approximately 1,500 olive saplings belonging to families from the Al-Motawer and Jabbareen clans.

In the first half of 2025 alone, colonists have established 23 new outposts, mostly agricultural in nature, with full protection and backing from the Israeli military. The move is seen as part of a broader, systematic effort to establish new outposts and forcibly displace Palestinians from their lands.

During the same period, colonists carried out 2,153 recorded attacks, resulting in the killing of four Palestinians. Such attacks have included home burnings, armed raids on villages, land confiscations, road sabotage, and large-scale  colonist invasions — particularly in villages like Kafr Malik, Al-Mughayyir, Baita, and Sinjil.

Illegal Israeli settlers release herds of livestock into Palestinian residential area near Aree'ha (Jericho)

RAMALLAH, July 14, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Monday released herds of livestock into a Palestinian residential area in the Shallal Al-'Auja region north of Aree'ha (Jericho).

According to the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, which documented the incident through photos and video footage, the herds of livestock were seen roaming between homes and agricultural plots, causing damage to farmland and infrastructure.

'Hasan Mulai'hat, the organization’s general coordinator, described the incident as part of a border pattern of ongoing of harassment” aimed at forcibly displacing Palestinians and expanding illegal colonies in the Jordan Valley, which is under full Israeli control.

Such practices pose a direct threat to the stability of the population centers in the Jordan Valley and reflect a systematic escalation against the Palestinian communities.

The Organization called for urgent intervention by relevant authorities to put an end to colonist violence and ensure protection and dignity for residents trying to remain on their land.

Illegal Israeli settlers attempt to set fire to Palestinian house east of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), July 14, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers attempted to set fire to a Palestinian home in the village of Keesan, east of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), on Monday.

Homeowner A'hmed Nassar Al-Rashayda told WAFA that a group of colonists from the nearby illegal outpost of Ma’ale Amos attacked his house around 2:00 a.m., smashing one of the windows and hurling a Molotov cocktail into a room that was fortunately unoccupied at the time. The fire was quickly contained before it could spread.

As they fled the scene, the settlers reportedly fired live rounds at the house. No injuries were reported.

Al-Rashayda noted this was not the first such attack on his home, describing it as part of an ongoing effort to intimidate his family and force them out of the area.

The illegal Israeli settlers have recently escalated their attacks on citizens and their property east of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), with incidents including home invasions in al-Minya and Wadi Sa’ir, as well as injuries and the torching of vehicles.

Israel occupation forces a Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) to demolish his own house

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), July 14, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime forced a Palestinian citizen on Monday to self-demolish his home in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Governorate reported that the occupation troops forced Mahir Al-Salayma, from the Wadi Qaddoum neighborhood in the town, to self-demolish his home.

The governorate added that the house, which consists of two apartments and houses seven people, has been built for more than 35 years and covers an area of approximately 140 square meters.

It is worth noting that the occupation authorities had previously demolished another home belonging to Al-Salayma family, as part of a systematic policy targeting Jerusalemites through demolition orders and population restrictions.

The occupation authorities force citizens in occupied Jerusalem to self-demolish their homes under the pretext of lacking a permit. Those who refuse to do so have their homes demolished by bulldozers, imposing heavy costs on the owners.

The occupation municipality in Jerusalem refuses to grant Palestinian citizens building permits and demolishes or forces them to demolish their homes. This practice violates international laws and humanitarian norms that guarantee the right to housing.

It is also a part of the Israeli systematic practices of forcibly displacing Palestinians from the city of Jerusalem, in exchange for expanding settlements in the city and its surroundings.

It is worth noting that the number of homes and facilities destroyed by the Israeli occupation authorities in the governorate since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, has reached 623.

These include residential homes, some of which have been inhabited for decades, and others under construction, in addition to commercial and economic facilities that provide a source of livelihood for dozens of Jerusalemite families, according to the Jerusalem Governorate.

Israeli forces demolish under-construction Palestinian home near Jineen

Jineen, July 14, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces on Monday demolished a Palestinian home under construction in the village of Jalboun, east of Jineen, according to a local official.

Ibraheem Abu Al-Rub, head of the Jalboun village council, told WAFA that Israeli forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the village and tore down a 150-square-meter house belonging to local resident 'Hasan As'ad Abu Al-Rub.

He added that Israeli authorities had previously issued a stop-work order for the house several months ago, citing its location near a section of the separation and annexation wall built on village land.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israel demolished 588 Palestinian structures in the first half of this year, impacting at least 843 individuals, including 411 children. In the same period, 556 demolition orders were issued—322 of which targeted inhabited homes.

PGMO: Over 700 people, mostly kids, killed by Israel while seeking water

Monday 14-July-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza has accused the Israeli occupation army of committing “one of the most heinous crimes against humanity” by waging “deliberate and systematic thirst warfare” against the Palestinians in the war-ravaged Strip.

In a statement on Monday, PGMO said the Israeli army had committed dozens of massacres against civilians fetching water, killing over 700 people, most of them children.

“Water is being used as a weapon of war to collectively punish the population and strip them of their most basic human rights,” PGMO added.

The Israeli army has targeted 112 freshwater filling points and destroyed 720 water wells, putting them out of service. This has deprived more than 1.25 million people of access to clean water, according to the office’s statement.

“We affirm that this racist policy constitutes a full-fledged war crime under the Geneva Conventions, and a grave violation of international humanitarian law and human rights law.”

PGMO also accused the Israeli occupation regime of preventing the entry of 12 million liters of fuel monthly, the amount necessary to operate the minimum number of water wells, sewage treatment plants, garbage collection vehicles and other vital services.

This Israeli ban has “caused near-total paralysis of water and sewage networks and worsened the spread of diseases, especially among children,” PGMO said.

On March 9, Israel cut off the last power line feeding the last water desalination plant in central Gaza’s Dair El-Bala'h, halting the production of large quantities of drinking water and further deepening the enclave’s water crisis, PGMO added.

PGMO called for urgent international action to immediately end Israel’s thirst warfare in Gaza, ensure unhindered access to water for civilians, and pressure the Israeli government to allow the entry of fuel and essential equipment to operate water wells and sewage systems.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
